In 2010, Harold Arts designed and built a new recording studio for our resident musicians and artists on our tree farm in Chesterhill, Ohio. We converted an abandoned building with an indoor pool into The PoolHouse Recording Studio by gutting the building, decking the pool and treating the walls and ceiling for sound, mostly with lumber from the tree farm itself.
In July, artists and musicians began arriving for our two 2010 Trailblazer sessions. With our team of producers and engineers (Ashley Miller, Brian J Sulpizio, Ben Carver, and Seth Vanek) they recorded the sounds in this mixtape. Listen to it, download and share it, and find out more about our programs for artists and musicians at
